Miss Jade Attwood
Head Teacher
Appointed by virtue of their office
I have had the privilege of being part of the Oak Hill family since September 2017, when I joined the school as a class teacher. Since then, I have taught across Key Stage 2 in both Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 classes, working in both full-time and job-share roles. During this time, I have led a range of curriculum areas, including Mathematics, History, Geography, Science and Computing, as well as serving as the school's SENCo.
In Spring 2023, I took on the role of Acting Headteacher before being appointed as Oak Hill's permanent Headteacher in September 2023. Oak Hill is a very special place to me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to lead such a wonderful school community. It is a joy to see our children flourish each day, growing in confidence, character and knowledge as they progress through our school.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, a love of books that I have happily passed on to my daughter. Family life keeps me busy, and with two sporty children, our weekends are usually filled with matches, activities and time spent together.

I have been teaching at Oak Hill CE Primary School since 2024, where I lead English, PE and Geography. I am passionate about inspiring children to develop a love of learning, particularly through reading and exploring the world around them. Having travelled extensively and taught in both South Korea and Ghana, I bring a wealth of experiences and perspectives to my role.
Outside of school, I love going on adventures with my family and discovering new places together. As a member of the local community, I feel privileged to be closely involved in the growth and development of our small school. I am passionate about supporting Oak Hill to flourish, ensuring it continues to provide the very best opportunities for every child.
