Allergies and Intolerances

At Oak Hill we are committed to providing meals for children needing special diets for medical requirements, where possible. Our school meals are provided by Caterlink on behalf of GCC.

To ensure we understand your child's needs, please complete the form below and return to the school office as soon as possible. If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Caterlink work closely with their suppliers and aim to be as accurate as possible in the information publlished about their menus, but it must be noted that they can only be guided by the information the suppliers provide, similar to the process of a parent catering for a child’s special diet.

It is essential that we all - parents, school and Caterlink - work together when providing a safe special diet for an individual child so it's vitally important the Allergy & Intolerance form is fully completed.

Caterlilnk review special diet provision as part of every menu change.  In order to ensure your child's needs are taken into account, parents must return the fully completed allergy and intolerance form to the school office as soon as possible. Please do not send forms directly to Caterlink or GCC.

If there any changes to your child's needs in the future which we and Caterlink need to be aware of, please let us know immediately.

It is vital that all forms are accompanied with a referral letter from a medical professional (G.P, Consultant or Dietician).
