The Board of Governors at Oak Hill CE Primary School is proposing making a significant change to the School by closing the satellite site in Dumbleton. They have therefore today published the required statutory documentation to commence the formal public consultation process for the following:

"Proposal to permanently unite the whole School community on one site

in Alderton by closing the School's satellite site located in Dumbleton"

The formal statutory proposal notice and accompanying documentation are provided on the School's website (links below) and will also be distributed to stakeholders by a variety of means including internal and external communications, online publications and public notices.

The public consultation period will run from 14 February until midday on 21 March 2023.

Any person may support, object to, make comments or submit representations on the proposal.  

You can submit feedback on the proposal in a number of ways - online, by post, by email, at the public consultation event.  A feedback form is available on the School's website (link below).  Feedback does not have to be submitted on this form.

1).      A public consultation event will be held on Monday 6 March 2023 at 6pm in the School Hall, Alderton.

3).      Send submissions by post or hand delivery to:

4).      Send submissions by Email to:

All submissions MUST be received by midday on 21 March 2023.
